13th Annual Mujeres de Paz Candlelight Vigil

The East Los Angeles Women's Center held their 13th annual Mujers de Paz Candlelight Vigil on October 7th, 2010. Approximately 100 women, men and children marched from the East Los Angeles Civic Center to the mural of La Virgen de Guadalupe on Mednic Ave. near Avenida Cesar Chavez.

Gloria (left) and Rene Mendoza were two of the approximately 80 people who participated in the 12th annual Mujeres de Paz Candlelight March and Vigil in East Los Angeles on October 8, 2009. The Candlelight march began at the East Los Angeles Civic Center and proceeded to a mural of La Virgen De Guadalupe on the corner of Mednik and Avnida Cesar Chavez.
